Mogroside IIIA1 - Introduction
Mogroside IIIA1 is a natural saponin compound extracted from Siraitia grosvenorii. Its chemical name is Mohan glycoside A1, which belongs to eicosaponin. It is a white crystalline powder, insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, methanol and chloroform.
Mogroside IIIA1 has a variety of biological activities. Studies have shown that it has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor, anti-platelet aggregation, antibacterial and antiviral activities. It is reported that it also has the functions of regulating blood sugar, lowering blood lipid, protecting liver and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular.
A common method for preparing Mogroside IIIA1 is to use solvent extraction and gel column chromatography. First, Luo Han Guo is dried and ground to a powder, which is then extracted with an appropriate solvent. Next, the mixture was separated and purified using a gel column chromatography technique to obtain pure Mogroside iiia1.
Regarding safety information, Mogroside IIIA1 is considered to be a relatively safe natural compound. However, proper safety handling should still be observed during use. Avoid prolonged contact with skin and eyes to avoid irritation. During storage and handling, it should be kept in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place, away from ignition and flammable substances.
Due to individual differences and specific application environments, it is recommended that before using Mogroside IIIA1, please consult a professional medical staff or a chemical expert with relevant experience, to ensure safe and proper use.
